Movida Sydney

The Sydney counterpart to the famous Movida in Melbourne. It lives up to expectations, though I'd say I prefer the Melbourne version better.

Situated in Surry Hills, Movida Sydney is fairly large with quite a large open kitchen/bar area for people to try out Tapas

The prices are very reasonable - portions are not huge though. Even when they call it a 'main' so be sure to try out quite a few dishes to be full!

The menu at Movida

I ordered a 'Rubijito' - Very sour but cute cup!

This was the goat cheese - it was amazing and I was never a goat cheese fan. A definite must try

Wagyu main - the egg broken up is just divine. The wagyu is so thin it tastes like Jamon

This was the salmon main. Another great dish

Tiger Prawn Salami - really yum but can't explain the taste. It's such an interesting combination and I've never disliked anything from Movida!

Churros. These babies are melt in your mouth good. They did a great job caramelising it with Cinnamon - it was dripping in it!
