The latest in a string of restaurants and cafes that's revamping York St - Vapiano is invitingly large in scale. The decor and the table set up are all communal and quite gourmet-esque. All food are ordered and cooked in front of you instead of table service. Taking self serve to another level!
I decided to try it out on a weeknight after gym, felt like good healthy but substantial food was a good choice!

To be honest, I didn't think the pasta was anything amazing. A bit too al dente for me. I also didn't enjoy the fact that I had to wait in line, once served had to wait for them to cook the food in front of me. I suppose for some people who have specific needs, they could easily tell the cook how they want their food to be made. Worth a try if you like Italian food!
