Just another Friday night in Sydney - decided with the girlfriends to head out and try out some of the new restaurants that's opened up near Wynyard. My friend picked out York Trading & Co as its famous for the pasta dishes.
It's a very small establishment nestled in between the pub and the Bavarian Bier Cafe, easily missed but quite cosy once you get inside. The waiters were great - all providing really good service and giving us advice on the food and drinks. One of them even persuaded me to change my drinks order because he didn't think some of the drinks on the menu were all that good! hehe
The pasta dish was definitely memorable - especially the lamb & sage ragu. I love ragu in general, this was done really well and all the dishes are at very affordable prices!

| Definitely my favourite. The Lamb & Sage Ragu. The sauce was delicious, I just wanted to lick it off the plate and the lamb was so tender. I would go back just for this dish! |

| Salami Piadina - this is quite spicy. I don't take to chilli all that well so didn't each much of it. |

| Tiramisu - Can't say I've been anywhere in Australia where they have done it right. But I would probably miss this one, I think they tried to get too fancy on this dessert! |

| Pistachio Panna Cotta - couldn't really taste the Pistachio, the mix with the sauce is quite an acquired taste. I say order it if you feel like trying something different! |

Overall a great experience, the waiters are friendly and the food prices are very affordable. The go do dishes are definitely the entree and the pasta. Would come back for another meal!
