Brewtown Newtown

One word - cronuts. I missed out on getting one in NYC from Dominique Ansel's bakery but heard these brewnuts do it justice enough.

It's a long wait, even at 2:30pm on Sunday but finally get seated to try out the dishes (savoury and sweet) along with my new obsession: cold drip coffee.

The cold drip coffee lives up to expectations - smooth and refreshing for a hot sunday afternoon. The cronuts got served first, because they go that fast that the waitress recommended that she just grabbed them off the counter and onto our table. And WOW - beats zonuts 1000 times and yes, we ordered two cronuts to try out the flavours. My favourite is the chocolate - just enough sweetness from the chocolate and crunchy pastry from the cronut.

The crusted blue fin tuna is a delicious (and maybe healthy) main to accompany the cronut attack. I will be coming back here again.. and again, if only just to try the cronuts!

Look at that line!

The cronuts together. They are just so beautiful!

My fave - the blue fin tuna dish of course!
