The venue is large, spacious and decor feels a bit like Sushi Tei. But don't mistake that for a cheap Japanese meal - this place is expensive for the amount of food you get (though the whole concept of Teishoku is that it's an authentic home cooked meal!) The quality is good though - so if you want authentic meal this is the place to go. The presentation of the food is also a nice novelty bonus.
The restaurant provides you with a photo booklet menu to order from and then an ipad -where all the items are there and you can place your order as self serve. I guess, it tries to cater to everyone?
The menu - hard copy style
Menu + Ordering system on the ipad
Entree presentation - told you it was fancy!
Beet Tataki - no faults. Just delicious!
Agedashi Tofu - the broth is amazing!
Beef Sukiyaki
Special Japanese type fish
Pork Cutlets
The Rice - apparently booked in Dashi Broth
Mochi dessert
I'm undecided if this place is worth a second or third visit. The final bill was expensive and my only barrier to coming back. But worth a visit to taste authentic Japanese food
