Lotus Dumpling Bar Walsh Bay

So I'm Shangainess and I love my shang food of course. One thing that I love and can't find anywhere (apart from Shanghai) is the pan fried dumpling buns. There's just no place that can get it right - and apparently it really is a delicacy mastery that will take an average person a good 7 years to get right.

So my friend told me about Lotus Dumpling - it's opened by shang people, great food and apparently they get the pan fried dumplings right. So of course, I went to give it a try! Food overall was good but I won't say the pan friend dumplings were shang quality. They are probably better than anything that is currently on offer, so worth considering. But they're not as good as the originals in Shanghai  =)

The famous Shanghai panfried dumplings. The shapes are better than the big and round 'buns' other places make (which is completely wrong by the way). The base is crisp too which is good!
