Devon By Night

Eclectic mix of French and Malaysian/Asian hawker food inspired dishes is one way to sum up Devon By Night. It's a cute cafe, no reservations before 8:30pm - with plenty of walk ins desperate to try the famous Lobster Roll and Pork Buns.

I have to say - I was quite impressed with the entree menu. Mains were good - especially Korean fried chicken. But the rest were just good mains, didn't quite impress or wow

The menus and prices are definitely very affordable. The banquet menu is only $65 per person - that's half the price of what other restaurants would charge. And 5 stars to the service there too.

Cute one pager menu

My tea set. how adorable!

Yep these are a must. There's something about porks and buns!

Really good Korean Fried Chicken. Sauce is amazing as well

Must try dish - Lobster rolls

Can't say I thought the satay chicken was all that amazing. The 'satay' is actually more a pumpkin & spice puree

This one was a little disappointing. It sounded really good - egg custard with truffles. But the egg custard was slightly over cooked and the dough was abit too stringy. I would say to pass on this - but it makes a good looking dish!

Mushroom in a bag

This is actually pig ears - deep fried. I didn't like the texture at all so give it a miss

Fried Ice Cream Bun

Oh my - must have dessert. Sago with guava sorbet on top. To die for!
