La Grillade French Restaurant

For those of you who know me, I have a weakness for French food. So of course, the opportunity came along to enjoy a nice dinner with the girls at La Grillade in Crows Nest. I've heard of this place for a long time, just never wandered over until now.

The restaurant is actually quite large with an outdoor seating area. The waiters are attentive and the service very quick and efficient. The portions are generous, especially the entree of snails! Not many restaurants offer snails and this one cooks them really well. So definitely worth a visit!

Garlic Prawns as a share entree

Scallops. Cooked to perfection!

Kangaroo meat. They only offer it up as 'rare' but surprisingly easy to cut and eat!

Seared Salmon

The pork. Crackling was amazingly crunchy

Panna Cotta with Blueberry Compote. Deliciously and very filling!
